Praise Jesus! Meriam has been released! A judge overturned her conviction and she is a free woman. According to statements made by her husband a few weeks ago, he plans to take his whole family out of the Sudan. There is some confusion as to whether or not she has been reunited with her husband. Her lawyers have been quoted saying she is in a safe, hiding place and another lawyer saying they have been reunited. It is possible that it is both. Either way, send your praises to Jesus for her release!

Don’t stop praying! Although Meriam has been released, there is at least one other woman who faces the same fate. Her name is Fazia.
