It is very disheartening that many U.S. Christians know nothing of
the extreme persecution taking place in these modern times across the
globe. It is sad, out of ignorance, they can not speak out or pray for
our brethren suffering for Christ. PRAYER is the number one thing they
ask for. We pray more church leaders will demonstrate courage by sharing
with their flocks, the stories of their suffering. And begin to pray
with their congregations for the persecuted—more than once in awhile.

A part of the Body has been wounded. It’s in the scriptures, God’s
word, what we should do.(1 Corinthians 12:12-27) The Body as a whole
must care for those wounds, as did the 1st century Christians…in this
way they survived.(Galatians 6:9-10) And they became known to the world
for the great love demonstrated towards one another, as one Body—family
in Christ. (John 13:34-35) Be their VOICE and lift them in prayer. If
the tide turned, we would certainly hope they would love us enough to
care and pray for us. ‪#‎PersecutedChurch‬ ‪#‎OneInTheBody‬

I took this from Voice of the Persecuted on Facebook.  How poignantly they make their point!  As I journey through being an author/writer, this has more and more become my battle cry.  Ignorance is not an excuse.   My goal is to make the information easily available. So much in the West, it is not easy to find this information. We are bogged down with so much news, entertainment, and distractions that we forget.  I hope to combat this.  And you can help!
By sharing on social media, talking about it with friends/family, petitioning, writing letters to those in prison, … you can bring this to light.  You can enlighten Christians who are ignorant.  By enlightening them, they are prepared to make the choice of becoming smarter and making the time.
Join me in bringing light to a dark subject.  Help me reach Christians who need to hear the cries of the persecuted part of the body.
