InChains brings you the news about the persecuted Church worldwide. It also brings you resources available for prayer, statistics, and more. Part of being the body of Christ is remembering those that are persecuted. “Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.” We need to remember and pray for those that are being persecuted, but we also need to pray for those that are doing the persecuting, that they would come to Christ. “But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” InChains prays that you will use this knowledge to strategically and specifically pray.

BURMA/MYANMAR

Rev. Ai was arrested in 2018 along with other Christian leaders during a separatist crackdown in Wa state. His family struggled while he was in prison, and members of the Wa State Army prevented other believers from helping them. Ai was released after several months, but the situation remains very difficult for Christians in the region. They are not allowed to meet for fellowship or even pray before meals, and pastors are strictly prohibited from leading church activities. Ai and his family would like to leave the area, but as members of the Wa ethnic group they are not allowed to move outside Wa state borders. Pray for Ai and his three children.

MOROCCO

(from iCommitToPray.com)

When a woman named Latifa came to know Christ, her husband vehemently opposed her new faith. Eventually, he gave her an ultimatum: Give up your faith or I will divorce you. Latifa chose her faith, and her husband divorced her. During the divorce proceedings, the court refused to require her husband to pay child support because of Latifa’s Christian faith, so she is now the sole supporter of their three children. Pray that Latifa will remain strong in faith, that her children will come to know Christ and that she will find a way to provide for them. Pray also that her husband will come to faith in Christ.
